Privacy Policy
Last updated October 3, 2026
Bibbity’s Baubles is a small handmade shop. This page explains what information the shop collects when you visit, buy something, or create an account, and what is done with it. The short version: the shop only collects what it needs to fill your orders and run your account, and it never sells your information.
What we collect
- Orders. When you check out, we keep your email address, the items you bought, and the order total so we can confirm and ship your order. Checkout is handled by Stripe. Your card number goes directly to Stripe and never reaches or is stored on this site. Stripe’s own privacy policy covers what it collects.
- Accounts. Accounts are optional. You can always check out as a guest. If you create one, we store your email address and a securely hashed password (we cannot see your actual password).
- Signing in with Google. If you choose to sign in with Google, Google shares your name, email address, and profile picture link with us. We use these only to create and identify your account. We do not get access to your Google password, contacts, email, or any other Google data.
- Reviews. If you leave a review, we store the name you choose to display, your rating, the review text, and which account wrote it. The display name, rating, and text are shown publicly once the review is approved. Your email address is never shown.
- Cookies. The site uses only the cookies it needs to work: one to keep you signed in and remember your cart, and one that protects forms from abuse. There are no advertising or tracking cookies and no third-party analytics.
How we use it
- To process, confirm, and ship your orders.
- To run your account, including sign-in, email verification, and password resets.
- To show approved reviews on the site.
- To reply when you contact us.
Emails from the shop are about your orders and your account. We do not send marketing emails.
Who we share it with
We never sell or rent your information. It is shared only with the services that run the shop:
- Stripe, to take payments.
- Amazon Web Services, which hosts the site and sends its emails.
- Google, only if you choose to sign in with Google.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept for as long as needed for the shop’s business and tax records. Account information and reviews are kept until you ask us to delete them.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct, or delete the information we have about you, or to close your account, by emailing bibbity@bibbitysbaubles.com. If you signed in with Google, you can also remove the shop’s access at any time from your Google account settings.
Children
The shop is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new date at the top.
